Lightguide Systems Inc. was founded in 1986 by Randy Park, to provide training, design, and consulting in fiber optics technology. To this day, we still provide fiber optics expertise to a select group of clients. In the past 25 years we have covered every aspect of fiber optics. For example, in the early years, a considerable portion of our business was performing field connectorization, splicing, and testing. As a result, we have a wealth of experience in the practical, hands-on end of fiber. We have performed system designs involving video, data, and other communications formats, both large and small scale. We have worked with companies designing fiber equipment, assisting them with product development and evaluation. And we have trained hundreds of students on all aspects of fiber optics, including high level design courses and information. In short, if it involves fiber optics, we have probably done it!
